This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical significance of critical pedagogy and integrated language learning in English language education. The study explores the influence of the theories of Paulo Freire and Henry Giroux on modern language teaching, emphasizing the role of critical thinking, social interaction, and learner agency in integrated language classrooms. Furthermore, it discusses the contribution of communicative and interactive methodologies to language competence development. The findings indicate that integrated language learning based on the principles of critical pedagogy effectively promotes communicative competence, critical awareness, and active learner participation.
