- Abstract
-
This article examines the textural organization of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s piano piece October: Autumn Song from the cycle The Seasons. Particular attention is paid to the interaction of homophonic, polyphonic, and heterophonic elements, as well as to the role of texture in shaping the form and dramaturgy of the work. The analysis reveals the mobility of the textural structure, the variability of voice functions, and the significance of hidden polyphony in the development of the musical image. It is concluded that texture serves as one of the principal means of artistic expression, contributing to the poetic representation of autumnal moods and emotional experiences.
