In this work, the issues of determining organic dyes in textile industry wastewater using the electron absorption spectrophotometry method were studied. During the study, a model mixture was prepared based on the dyes “Direct Brown GTL”, “Turquoise Blue GL”, “Reactive Blue 21” and “Acid Black 234”. Spectral analyses were carried out in a modern infrared spectrophotometer in the range of 360–700 nm. The results obtained showed several maximum absorption peaks and spectral overlaps in some areas. The results of the study showed that the spectrophotometric method is effective in determining organic dyes.
